I urgently need a gear linkage from an sti7 to borrow and copy or to buy for my new project..

Can anybody help me??

This is going to sound stupid but can't you get one from subaru? What about places like grade a breakers?

breakers wont sell without the box.. and nobody has them..

the linkage alone is £600..

my discount wont get it much cheaper either..

You can buy a Quickshift for the STi from a dealer for £299.95.

The main linkage is very similar to the 5speed. The revers thingy simply pulls a cable to allow selection, which is the wee lever bit at the bottom tight of the picture.
Have you tried fitting the 5 speed linkage from the universal joint, to see what its like?
