Question

Ive got a standard MY00 turbo and after a bit of research im thinking of buying a stage one chip, full exhaust and induction kit,all from graham goode, costing around £2000.Does anyone out there have any of these mods who can tell me what i can expect? Or possibly suggest something better and cheaper? Im after someone whos not going to kill my car for me.Any advice would be greatly received.

www.ecutek.com
www.scoobysport.co.uk

Recommend the combination of the above..

(Would expect less than 2k as well)

IMO, having kind of been there done that, but not with GG.

I would personally do the following:-

1.) Find a 2nd hand Graham Goode, Scoobysport, Power Engineering, etc exhaust.

2.) Get the Ecutek remap done by either Scoobysport, Power Engineering, Graham Goode, Bob Rawle, or John Banks.

I would think those 2 options could be done for under £1000, and would change your car enough to notice.

A friend of mine has got a y reg wrx sti6 with graham goode induction kit , exhaust system , dump valve and thier own chip/remap , reputidly giving nearly 350bhp ,
I have driven this car and it is very rapid/torqey it makes my own wrx feel as if the turbo's not connected,
If you need any more info e-mail me your phone number and i'll get him to ring you,

Cool

The car has only done 7500 miles from new , but the clutch will slip now and again if you nail the throttle at low rpm's in top gear

My standard clutch has still not slipped, broke 3rd gear though. Some standard clutches seem better than others.
