Question

Can you measure the pressure that the wastegate is operating at by fitting a guage similar to that for the boost ??

Also do people fit uprated Wastegates and if so what does anyone recommend ??

You can check your wastegate using a simple handheld pressure/vacuum pump like this

Apply pressure to the wastegate and when it pops open, it'll show you how much pressure it took to open.
