LOL @ Dowser.
Search don't work on 3 or less characters. If you search for 'MAF', you'll find sod all.
You'll need to start hunting through all the old posts in Drivetrain (maybe the past 100-days)

I suggest a few of us add that link to our Favourites.
Why can't we have these as stickies instead of some advert for Prodrive (did I say that out loud )

the water was getting thru from the holes for the intake resonator

a big hairdryer and some 3m tape fixed the problem for now.
since you guys in england get all that rain how do u adress the problem of water ingestion with a pod type filter?i ve got an apexi power intake dry type(was...!)

You might want to create a new post for that question. Some of us are very paranoid with MAF failures, so are sticking to the std OEM air filter.
For me the gains aren't worth the risk.

I also have a 00 Uk spec. I just replaced my MAF, had it done at power Engineering whilst on the RR. £100 fitted. I have seen them for £76 also. Its easy to fit also, not like the Lambda!
You can buy the unit on its own without the housing.

ok guys- it WAS the MAF..
swapped for a working (clean) sensor and all seems well
big thumbs up to a certain person
During the lifespan of that sensor, the car had run an OE panel, RamAir panel, K&N 57i induction kit, Green Panel.. still had a tiny bit of oil on there..
there wasnt that much muck on the sensor, but a clean one has made the world of difference! and saved my sanity
boost is now far more reliable, and economy is back to "normal"
