If it says "12v switched" then get the ignition live feed.

MY99. That site has the connection for the ECU. I want to connect it view the lambda sensor as it will be easier for me.

Would it be eaiser via the ECU. Will it affect readings?

The site is for the US Impreza. Will it be the same for the UK Turbo??

Ive been told it is better to take the feed from the ECU.... because taking it so close to the sensor can cause the o2 sensor to under read and cause the car to run rich... this is what bob rawle said...!! so i trust him...

For the MY99 the wire at the ECU you need is below..

You want page 33 of the PDF... i think

http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/m...ring/link5.pdf

I think you will need 'B136', 'pin 21'

My Pin 21 wire is White/Turquise and silver dots.

Is this right.

There is one wire which is White with silver dots, but it's not PIN 21.

I did mine yesterday.

Have you got the blue plug? Ok, look into the face of it and at the bottom row. The left hand side will have 3 wire holes, the right will have 4 I think. Look at the row with 4 pins in it. Go up a row and take the second one in from the middle of the plug.

It should be white with silver flashes on it. Make sure you trace it correctly as the do twist around a lot.

Is is an Autometer?

Let me know your results. I wired all mine to the ecu Signal 21, power 9 and earth 30.
