Ive just replaced my plugs with NGK 6's and ive noticed that at idle the car is poping like timing is out slightly, the rev counter isnt fluxuating or anything its just on idle its sounds normal then makes a slight pop. I have a standard exhaust at the mo as the Car is still under Warrenty and theres an Apexi Cone too. Could the new plugs cause this. Anyone ever had similar.
Also another quick question, did the Jap Sti Ra's all have closed blocks or was it only the Ra's ??

Ta heaps

Yeah so ive solved the problem anyway but ta for asking!

Those NGK PFR6B plugs are ****e for my Jap Sti, took them out and put the HKS 35i back in, incidently 'DENSO' is scribed into each of the plug nuts.Car works a dream no misfire, thats what I was trying to describe above. Looks like im gonna have to source the plugs from the US as UK prices are a joke. Anyone know of webbies ?

Anyone have more info on individual models of Jap imprezas, mine inparticular 1996 Sti RA Ltd.
I wanted to know: which block, which Turbo, injectors if Different from std Wrx's, cam differences, if the suspension is uprated from std Wrx's. Ive looked at the SIDC FQA and scoured the rest of the net, but no joy.
Ta

There's another site (which, helpfully, I can't remember!!!) which lists all makes and most facts about them (something with Plaeides in the title I think, the star system that the badge is supposed to represent)

I'm running the car with Blitz Spec 7 Iridium plugs which seem to be more reliable than the Platinum ones, but it's an expensive business at £17 a pop.
