p1 downpipe
#1
just contacted my local garage re exhaust upgrade and asked re prodrive downpipe upgrade, prodrive told him it is a no no as any downpipe apart from the original causes overboost and can fry the engine, prodrive reckonseven with the ppp downpipe this happens so be warned p1 owners thinking of modifying the exhaust like me!

Just get one mate subaru will say that as they arn`t in position to sell you one.
I know a top bloke who works for subaru and he has never said anything like that, and he will be fitting my downpipe on saturday to my P1 (my second scoobysport downpipe when it arrives)

I have had a scoobysport downpipe on my P1 for over 6 months covering about 8k miles and all seems well, however when accelerating to the redline HARD I get occassional jerks forward and cuts in power but only when really hammering it.
Will a rolling road tune from PE make sure that I don't get any det problems as this is something I am seriously considering?
Cheers
