Default SG9 Is this play normal on the clutch fork?

Anyone knows if this play is normal on the fork? It's a pull type so the fork should go the other way, but still kinda curious why there's so much play, and also why the fork get stuck if it's pushed to long back. Removed the boot and used a flashlight, but could not see anything.
Been having some problems with my clutch and trying to locate what the heck is going on, and i fear the worst, broken clutch fork.

It's a ~8 month old ACT clutch kit so most of the stuff is new.

No. Not normal. Mine never had play like that. Suspect you need a new clutch.

So the local workshop pulled the gearbox down and took a look at the clutch and everything looked as new. The clutch fork was not cracked or bent.
Both the salve and mastercylinder are brand new and there's still problems with the clutch. Any ideas what's the problem here?

Did you take it to a regular garage or a Subaru specialist?

I should add that there is normally some play in the clutch fork.

Is the clutch engaging half way up the pedal travel where it is supposed to be?

There should be a clutch spring there somewhere to tension it slightly.

There's no such thing as a Subaru specialist where i live
I have to start the car with a gear and while driving it's almost impossible to change gear.

I was just about to say this now sounds like a slave cylinder issue. You can adjust this I believe.

Yes. And there's no more play for the clutch fork. I mean it can't be pushed more.
