what’s needed too convert a classic Impreza to 6 speed
Hi guys I’m new on here my 95 impreza blew its gearbox the other day and I was wanting to convert it too a 6 speed anyway I’m just trying to work out what bits I need to convert it, I know I’ll need the box, prop and diff I keep seeing people say you have too change the hubs too which will change the stud pattern to 114.5x100 I’m wondering if you can do it without changing the hubs as I’ve already bought new wheels which are 5x100 anyone able to help me out and give me any tips for doing the conversion? Cheers

Just done mines
used the following
6 speed box
matching 6 speed selector gearstick
6 speed flywheel and clutch
6 speed prop with r160 rear uj drive flange fitted as rear diff same ratio 3.54
6 speed gearbox mount
used my own starter and gearbox member and fitted the right speedo centre to suit car
front drive shafts fitted fine as long there is front stub axles sticking out of box

the 6 speed box I used required a 3.54 rear diff, so removed the r180 rear drive flange from prop and fitted the r160 rear drive flange to suit my rear diff
