As a comparison my friends Evo - HKS cat back exhaust - read 218 hp at the wheels. I've been through dyno.scoobynet.co.uk and mine seems to be quite high, which is confusing me.

That sounds about right. The MY01 drops between 60 and 70 BHP through its transmission on a rolling road, so that would put your flywheel power in the region of 240 - 250 BHP which fits with the claim by Prodrive of 245 BHP.
Normally the Rolling Road people will give you a corrected flywheel figure to take account of the transmission losses and the effects of the weather. What did they claim?

They couldn't measure the power at the flywheel, so nothing written down. I can remember us discussing it and a guestimate being made, but I'm buggered if I can remember it now.
The Lambda reading - I think - was a wrong'un off the bottom of the scale.
Boost went as high as 1.2 but would benefit from a controller.
I've asked for the results to be posted online.

I can't say that I know anything about the subject - apart from my experience today - so help me out here. Why does anyone care about anything other than power at the wheels?
I'm glad I went along though, it was great fun. Even washed the car tonight

PAW figures mean nothing by themselves. Different gear, or different tyre pressures even, will make big differences to this figure.
You need the slow down part of the session to calculate drivetrain losses and give you the correct flywheel figure. This task removes any differences caused by gear/tyre .

It was a good experience anyhow, if anyone fancys it I can organise a day out and get a group discount. There's already been a Skyline day and an Evo day and G-Force have a bunch of nice Porsche's they've run.
