Default slight knock when lifting off

i have a slight knock when lifting off the gas pedal,

if im take the car to high revs/harsh acceleration and lift off this is when it happens, seems to be coming from underneath, its not rear shocks as they are brand new

during slow acceleration/driving its doesnt really happen (maybe once or twice)

its a blob sti with a 6 paddle clutch/lightweight flywheel

its almost as though something is settling back into place, the car goes in and out of gear without issue from cold or hot

bush/mount related perhaps?

the car is coming up to 97k

cheers

Check the bolts & bushings in the pitch mount between g/box and firewall, and the other engine mounts for that matter.

I have something similar,if I give it some beans on lifting off I get a knocking underneath. If I drive like Miss Daisy nothing. It has been on a ramp but couldn't find anything loose. I might suggest rear diff support when it goes in for MOT in May.

I had this on my blobeye when I throttled on and off fast it sounded a little like slack in the diff. Eventually I found the problem was the rear drive shaft nuts weren't torqued up properly. They seem to have a habit of going off torque after a few launches apparently.

What this man said, I had the same and it was the axle nuts. I re-torqued them once and it started doing it again after 6 months so bought new ones. All is god now
