Powerstation? Alive?
Anyone alive at the keyboard at Powerstation??
I'm rather desperate to have my e-mails answeared to, as I need my AST shock-absorbers either repaired or replaced as soon as possible. Going ice track racing in january, but two shocks are leaking oil
Guess I could pick up the phone, but e-mails avoids a lot of the confusion which arise when I try talking to Anglo-Saxons

It would seem that emailing them is not the best way - need to use the phone.
For the reasons you have pointed out, I would have to agree that email is so much better for doing business in a business like manner.

I could say the same for companies that do not answer the phone..... there are plenty of them! Some prefer emails, whilst others find it easier on the phone.
Personally, I think email communication is not that good a medium at times. I would rather speak on the phone.
Each to their own I guess.

I've also experienced some problems not with Powerstation though.
I sent an e-mail to xtreme scoobies, scoobyclinic and Roger Clark motorsport about some Defi gauge accessories. Xtreme Scoobies and Scoobyclinic replied within a day , I'm still waiting for Roger Clark Motorsport reply .
Like you say, some perfer e-mails some telephone enquires, but customer service differs wildly in my experience .

Email is the way to do business these days, it avoids confusion. The email must be well written and in the Queens English, not some text shorthand mumbo jumbo.
I would never engage in or continue to do business with a company, that doesnt respond to emails.
receiption@powerstation.org.uk is obviously a worthless.

I've now been in contact with Richard at Powerstation - on telephone! Close enough to "Oxford English", so no big communication problems there
£150 to have both shocks serviced. My car is mainly used for tracks days, Richard adviced that the levels of grip with R888 tyres is probably too high for the Sportline I design (small diameter shaft). Upgrade imminent...
