Default ** AVOID CJ DEVELOPMENTS Aka Scoobycraig**

Just wanted to share this with you all and STOP your hard earned cash getting done over like mine did.

I bought a v4 Type r engine from "Scoobycraig" for £575 who is CJ Developments in SHropshire waited and waited 2 weeks later asked him where it was, he eventually answered his phone when i kept chasing him after 3 days and said the Address on the pallet had been defaced due to poor wet weather.

He then apparently asked the courier to deliver the item and guess what it never arrived within 3 days so i logged a Paypal dispute. I asked him for Consignment numbers and he didn't provide any.

Basically Paypal has decided the claim in my favour. But not a penny of my hard earned £575 has come back into my account because he's got none in it (done a runner i think)

Thanks guys, £575 down and no goods, a right bummer, But avoid this guy he's full of excuses and paypal is useless in recovering money at the mo, coz they;re trying to track him down.

RTM'd a few times for unauthorised advertising.

What's been done, nothing.

Good luck getting your money back.

reporting unauthorised advertisers simply does not work.

still loads on here, nothing ever gets done when you report them

but last week i was told off because i was apparently selling my old engine commercially (what the ****???)

£575 is very little money for a V4 type R engine. It is a shame that these people can do this stuff and apparently get away with it.

If, IF, it is any consolation at all, I think you would have found that the engine was no good and then have all the hassle of taking it out and so on.
At the moment the loss is £575 - but it could be so much more.

AND as usual without taking it to be bits, you'd never be sure that it was an STi motor anyway. We see more engines than most and you'll be surprised at what people haven't got, in relation to what they think they have.

Good luck all, David APi

Apparently a noisy bottom end David, so i was more than willing to rebuild the CDB for a 2.5 reline at a later stage, but was going to use the V4 heads on my EJ257.

Oh well done over now, but just had a brain wave and i shall contact my credit card company tomorrow and see what i can do.

Sorry to hear your news fella.
I have dealt with craig a couple of times now and found him to be ok.
Bought d-cat downpipe off him and it arrived quickly and as described and was well priced. Then I needed a induction hose for my classic and he came up trumps there to. Agreed he can sometimes be difficult to get hold of but alway rang back.
Just like to add, he is not a personal friend of mine, I live down south and first contacted him regarding an engine rebuild.
Anyway, I take people as I find them and he was ok with me.

Yeah will see if I still have it on my other phone. I suppose out of ten times when ringing, nine will go to answer phone. Just luck of the draw really but as I said before he had rang back.
Will PM you if I have the number, as would not post it on here without his say so.

he doesnt sound like he wants to do business or the right man to do business with. sometimes its best to go to someone who has a bit of a track record not a big one as sometimes people can get arrogant. no names mentioned
