Power Station v's Power Engineering
#1
I plan to have a Uni cip or Ecu chip fitted to MY00 in the new year. Which company supply the best conversion, what is their reputation like, customer service etc.
I am running a full de-cat system with K&N panel filter. What power gains in BHP and torque will I get.
No unproven drama stories please.

Hi Shaggy,
I've not used Power Station, but have used PE quite alot over the last couple of months.
I was there last weekend (8/12) and Merv asked me if he could check an ECU that he had been working on in my MY97. The results were good. A modest increase in absolute power +5bhp but there was a huge increase in torque. An additional 30ft/lbs at 3000(ish) rpm.
Your best bet is to talk to each of the companies and get a feeling for what they offer.
Cheers
Gazza

I suppose I should have said that the car was running with 270bhp before the new ecu was fitted.
