I went down yesterday and asked Mark if it was goin and he said it was. Also there was nothing in the showroom and not much on the forecourt and a lot of glum faces.

If its true then excellent, I'll be made up. I just hope they re-employ the same ppl. In particular Danny and Bob. Its the customer service that they provided that made the difference.

It WILL re-open as another dealer within 2-3 weeks, they are rushing as not to lose existing customers to anybody else.
The previous staff are aware of what is happening and are attending a meeting on Monday morning to be re-offered there old positions.
The problem is that most of the staff have moved on with some getting better packages at other dealers but we will see.

Danny has been involved with my car since I bought it at the old Warrington dealers. Have to say though that I hope that, apart from Danny, they DON'T reemploy the old mechanics team. The last service I had at Widnes, I was driving back down the motorway when there was a lot of vibration from the rear. Thought it was a blowout, stopped, nothing visibly wrong. Continued, but slowly....
Got home to investigate more closely and burnt my hand on the offside wheel. The pratts had adjusted the handbrake but not backed it off properly on the offside....
