Hi All
As the title says, Who do I use for my servicing now I live near Harlow?
2 year service due! What will the cost be?

I guess if you want a Subaru dealer you're limited to Days of Chelmsford (I have no experience of them) or the Welch Group of Great Shelford (they seem OK).

For non-dealer servicing, Scoobysport or Xtreme Scoobies would seem to be your best bet.

Agree with Carl, Days of Chelmsford is probably the nearest and are pretty good to be honest, also try Quenbys @ Baldock (J9 of A1). Lavender Hill in Enfield are unable to service now I understand ....

If your motor wasn't under warranty I'd go to Xtreme Scoobies ...

Should see you around as I quite regularly buzz into Harlow

I live about 6 miles from you and use Wilsons. Takes me about 20 minutes across country. If you work in the City/West End, the delership is about 5 minutes walk to Chadwell Heath station and runs into Liverpool Street. The guy who works on the desk (Martin) is both knowledgeable and helpful.

I have no connections with the dealership and am happy to recommend them. They also do a discount for SIDC members

Gotta disagree with you there Prodriveuk.

Quenbys did all the servicing on my MY99 & handled two warranty claims quickly (time running out.....) & efficiently.

Shall be using them for my MY03 STI in due course.

Sorry mate, but from past experiece which were;

went there to buy a sti8 got ignored on the test drive,so went somewhere else and bought one.

payed for window tinting(later found out i got charged £50 more than usual,but got a good deal on a set of 18's wheels though!)

asked for a quote on new sti8 springs and had a shock of being told they would be £800 to fit+geo! where as from people on this website were getting charged less than half price.

I also test drove an STi8 there, but when I returned to discuss possible purchase was totally put off by the (different) salesman. Wasn't interested in talking discount on either the car or accessories so I took my wad elsewhere .

Can't fault the service dept in my dealings prior to that though.

I agree with you there Huge with the attitude of the salesman(any chance it was one of these; Paul, steve,nick,or that dick chris).
They even rung me up at work after i had visited them,(got pissed off with their sh*t service)if i would be interested in a sti8 that someone had orderd and cancelled,obviously i told them to f**k off!!!
I agree with you,their service dept are normal!
