What price for a 45K service?

that sounds expensive sonic,
last time i was at my local dealers they told me it would roughly be £140 and an extra £60 if it was a plug service, (they didnt check on the system it was just off the top of there head.

I questioned it too, as previously I was quoted 180 with plugs, but then I realised originally I had asked for a 3year Service
but the 380 quid was for a 30k Service, but now I am a little confused, as the 3 year one is the 45k service, and on the service schedule there is more on the 45k than the 30k
Now I am lost

Hmm, im really confused
Just had a look at the service schedule, and compared it against all the receipts I have for services (from the previous owner)
The car has NEVER had the 2 year service, its only ever had the services at the correct intervals, but based on the mileage (as it is relativly low, half the miles on the car are what I have done in 6 months) it has only ever had, oil & filter, and a few bits here and there, and only ever one air filter change
So im playing safe and going with the big one (2 year one) and not the 3 year cheaper one
btw does anyone have the revised Service Schedule showing the Cambelt at 60k

Dapper, I think it'll be more than an extra £60 to make it a "plugs included" service, as you'll find that the plugs cost around £60 before the labour. Take into account that most Subaru dealers manage to rip the ar$e out of labour times, and for them, changing plugs is probably about 2 hours labour! (joke)
They make out is such a a big deal, being a flat four. In reality, takes about 5 mins to take the airbox and washer bottle out and access is easy. Jobs a good un'!

According to my service booklet (the one that came with the car), it says that the 45K service is BOTH Cam-Belt and Plugs!!!!
Looks like it might get expensive!!
Still, I didn't buy the car coz it was cheap to run..... just as well really!
