Spoke on the phone to Dear Leap Milton Keynes ref a p/x price for my car. Told him what I wanted but was quoted a figure which I said was not acceptable so I would leave it & go else where.
Dealer called me back 1/2 hour later saying come down with the car on sat (today), they can do something near the figures I was asking for.
Turned up, they had a 2 minute look at car, said was V.nice and offered me the original unacceptable px figure .
What a waste of my time. As I said on the phone this figure was no good, the dealer must of thought I was stupid!
Never going to get my business, to***rs

DL may be owned by Adams - but the service from adams still seems prompt - they fitted me in real quick the other day when the door rubbers came off my new WRX.
Having said that did buy from DL but probably wont go back, me thinks it'll be tsl / ss for servicing after the 10k service.
They're simply way too pricy - its cheaper to drive to SS or TSL from where I live - get the service - and probably other bits than to go locally.

I don't think Simon was suggesting there's anything wrong with Adams/Deer Leap service, only their PX prices. To be honest, they are famous for their low PX offers. In fact that's why I ended up going to Listers for my P1.
To be fair though, I never had any problems with them in any other respect.

I used to have my old MY99 serviced at A. Betts north MK, they were consistently lower than adams.
With regard PX - I got a good one from D.L. - but that was when all dealers were gagging to sell the last of the 02's.

They simply werent shifting enough of the cars.
The servicing was good value, and the mechanic setup on his own in a workshop just off the A4146 at the farm machinery place.
