Recommendation for geometry set-up near Reading?
#1
Can anyone suggest a reasonable place to get four corner geometry checked and set in or around the Reading area? Subaru dealer or not doesn't matter (I believe SGT outsource this, for example). And what sort of price to pay?

Two places spring to mind, and I've used both of them. Both give a good service, and a similar price. If I had to do it again, I'd go back to Mill Lane.
Mill Lane Engineering, Basingstoke. They are a Subaru garage and have all the facilities to do the geometery on site. Charles Figgins is the Service Manager there and can be reached on 01256-780790. They can do this while you wait, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes.
Micheldever Tyres - Junction 8 of the M3. Follow signs to Micheldever Station, and they're in the big barn type thing, to the right of it. Lot's of Subaru owners would recommend them! You need to call them up and book ahead, as they will really only do this at 8am in the morning!!!
Both will charge somewhere in the region of £45.
Hope this helps

Mill Lane gets my vote. My car came back from there feeling like new...actually - make that 'better than new'...
