Just got a road angel with laser add on £399 with 2 years udates free. said i got the ad out of evo mag so they stuck to the deal(try it)!

Sames as scooby si - I've got both. They complement each other well.
Both false, for different reasons.
One confirms the other, with the RA picking up SPECS, etc. that the 550 can't - but the 550 lets you know about GATSOs that are alive and working, which the RA can't (it knows that most of them are there, but not if they are active).
Ideally, you need both - and a laser jammer (but they're still illegal).
Still - the logic of nearly a grand spent in detection equipment makes for an interesting discussion....
