Hmm not having much joy, tried all things mentioned here and a few others but I end up with the movie and the audio well out of sync. DVD Decrypter won't find my DVD drive, it just finds my SCSI CD-RW.

DVD2SVCD isn't freeware it appears a section of it is shareware.

Is there not a freeware way of doing this and getting it all synced up in one click?

cheers,

greg

Both will allow you to rip the vob files to your hard disk and optionally merge them

If you've got room on your HDD and you're going to delete them later just keep them as vob files.

Drag them into Media Player and they should play

I use the DVD2SVCD software bundle. Load DVD, Press 'GO' and 12 hours later you get .mpg files for burning to CDR.
