Unlikely as its a derivative of Debian/GNU/Linux, which isn't the most user friendly of OS's unless you are an uber **** geek. It will suit you perfectly.

To be honest, unless you're really, really computer illiterate, any form of *nix, whether that be BSD, OSX, or any one of the various Linux distro's, Debian, Ubuntu, SuSE, Gentoo etc.. are pretty easy to use.

How are they hard to use? Even for non techies there are variants that are super easy, hell my 12 year old daughter has been using Ubuntu for the last 3 years.

The days of having to compile your own kernel and build from source are long gone.

I think it's a great start. Hardly a nail in the coffin for Windows or OSX.

Have another read. I don't find any operating system hard to use, Cockforger on the other hand seems to think it's out of his league.

It'll nibble at the Windows market, maybe start taking big bites in a couple of years, why pay for Windows on your 'Rig', 'Battlestation' or whatever dodgy name you give your games machine.
