No problem, give it time, nobody likes change at first. When I look back now, iOS looked like a 6 year old operating system, which it was.

I suspect you do nothing of value on your device, be aware though that you are exposing other people's data. It's a bit nutty not locking your device to be honest.

Anyone updated?

No its a right royal pain in the a$$ having to put a code in every time I want to access it. I don't have any naked pictures of my partner on there so it's all good.

Only time I add a lock is when I am away from home for any period of time, otherwise phone doesn't leave my person.

I agree, now that I'm using Touch ID on my iPhone I keep wanting to use it on my iPad.

Good work Beef, what stopped you updating before?

Not that I would know how to, and I doubt my POS phone would let me.

that is how Herself didn't loose her phone a few years ago, we were in Trentham Gardens monkey park and it fell out of her bag, somebody found it and rang "home" but nobody was home as we were all at the park. He then rang her dad who told him to ring me but I had left my phone in the house, so the person then went through the recent call list and rang her son who was with us, they were about 100 meter's behind us on the path through the park so they caught up with us and give the phone back, nice person thank you very much

Anyway I digress... during Friday night my phone died so whenever I plugged it in and it came on on Saturday morning it came up on screen that a s/w upgrade was being done and "please wait", it was still updating on Saturday evening so I just pulled out the battery and when it came on again it looked normal so I'm not sure what was being updated, I'm on v 2.something btw
