Theres always usually ways round apples rules through jailbreaking and flashing etc. But would be great if this is unbreakable! Its shocking that in this day and age they haven't already implemented something like this!

If Apple made cars, none of you would buy them. There would be only one model and all would look the same, though you would have a choice of either black or white. Plus they'll be slower than other cheaper cars and would need more frequent fuel stops. But if you want build quality and reliability rather than performance they would be ideal. Navagation would be via Apple Maps.....good luck with that.

Get a Google Car. It'll broadcast your private details to anyone it passes, get infected then crash. The good news is you can have flames on the side.

To be fair Jack, it would take someone thats a few slates short of a roof that would even think of nicking an iphone.

They would probably return it anyway once they seen their mates all singing and dancing HTC or Samsung phones.

I wish that was true Rob, unfortunately the resale value of Apple products is easily 50% more than any Android device. That's why it has been the thieves favourite, but thanks to Apple and this kind of obvious security measure you're now 50 times more likely to be a victim of theft and they'll have to steal twice as many to make the same money.

Don't worry though, I'm sure the same feature will be added to Android, or Samdroid or one of the other versions, fingers crossed you get an update, still a shocking amount of Android devices on 3 year old operating systems.
