Excel help.
I have what I think should be simple but can't seem to sort it out. I want to do a calculation involving start and end times that cross midnight.
If someone could solve this then it will give me the bigger picture. Any help much appreciated.
Example:
Cell A1 is formatted as a time (hh:mm) in it is 22:45. This is a start time.
Cell A2 is formatted the same, in it is 01:15. This is an end time
Obviously the total time is 2 hours 30 mins. I want to express this as as a decimal in a general or number formatted cell (2.5).
Basically I want 01:15-22:45 to equal 2.5
How do I do it.?
