Has anyone bothered rooting their Galaxy S3 yet? I can't move any programs to the sd card and rooting it is the only way possible as far as I know. Games are getting that friggin big now and it only takes a few and the phone is nearly full.

i think i was reading on xda, when you root it, you can move files to the sd card or something like that.

you can use a 64meg sd card with it, you just need to format it (fat32 i think)

I have had a 64gig memory card in it since I bought the phone and the only reason I wanted to root my phone was purely the reason you said. I have the correct app on my phone to move to sd but it won't work till my phone is rooted

I rooted my old s1 but for example the gameloft games didnt like having the game date on the memory card it just wanted to download it again

I assume the S3 will do the same its the actual game data thats a issue as the main app is tiny

the new need for speed on my s3 is about 800mb

my s3 is stock for now more then happy with it
