Default 1&1 muppets

1&1 in their wisdom decided to reset all of out DNS records last night.

No emails / vpn / website for today then.

Idiots.

I'm having problems with them too. They decided my old version of EasyLogin was no good and moved me onto Webmail 2, which is horrible.

it's a shame it's expensive to T/A a domain from them. Otherwise I'd vote with my feet.

Well. i've binned the hosting I had with them, so it's a start

Since they went over to windows server 2008 R2 I have had nothing but trouble with them, I have three servers with them and have had to migrate to a better company as their technical support was just a disgrace when it came to databases. Once my new server has been up a while and proved itself, 1&1 will never see me again.

That said, they are still INCREDIBLY cheap!

Aye. We have a customer who used them to host their website. They upgraded their web package with 1&1 who promptly reset the DNS for their domain. That included the MX records so their e-mail got cut off

I noticed after calling them the other day that none of there phone numbers work.. I recently recieved a letter from a solicitors from them saying to contact them as i refused to pay for there ****ty service.. And low and behold i can't get through unlucky for them
