Confused about ADSL

if you dont need a fix IP address (static) then no worries. you would only need the fix IP address if you intend to *run* a web server or mail exchange server using your ADSL connection.
you can still got for the USB modem and then get a router. have a look at www.draytek.co.uk for vigor 2200usb. so from the wall to the USB modem to the router. your PCs with network card will connect into the router to get the internet connection.

I've just been talking to my current ISP (Cyberware) about their prices for ADSL.
Very confused now.
They are offering a self install for £50 setup and then £25.53 per month. They say this can only be USB and is dynamic IP.
Is this true?
After reading numerous posts I was going to go for a router, can I still with this package?
I noticed that pipex offer a no nat option (static IP) for £5 per month. Should my ISP be able to offer this.
I am reluctant to change from Cyberware but am getting very confused.

If its a wires only install then you can choose any equipment you like.....If your present ISP doesn't like move to an ISP who does (Pipex, Force 9 , etc)
Get a router for max performance from your ADSL circuit.
