Does anyone know about Navisphere Manager which is used with FSC FibreCAT and EMC Clariion disk systems ?
I need to know what port (tcp/udp/http, etc) the Navisphere Manager software uses to talk to the disk subsystems and clients, as i need to get these ports opened up on a firewall and i will be buggered if i can find out what they are !!

Have had the above ports opened and when i start Navisphere Manager from my PC it cannot connect to the storage devices. I can ping the devices, so maybe it is another port ??? I am using Navisphere Manager 5.3.0 and FC4700 storage with 5.2.1 client software.

Navisphere Manager (and NaviCLI) communicates through port 6389. Most firewall software will allow a port to be opened. Once opened, Navisphere Manager will be able to operate the agents. For a manager (or CLI) instance that will be performing NDU procedures, ports 6390, 6391, and 6392 must also be opened. There are the ports used to download array software from the management station to the array’s PSM.
