Increased boot time with SSD - Macbook
Hi - I have a Macbook unibody fro 2008. I've today timed the boot-up from initially pressing the button on the chassis to the logon screen as 50 seconds.
I used CarbonCopyCloner to make a clone of my previous SATA to my new SSD drive and installed.
No issues with anything else but now it appears that my boot time is 61/62 seconds!! I've actually slowed it down
Application load times have significantly improved and the system appears snappier but cannot understand why boot-times have been increased ?!?!?
I watched some videos on Youtube and they quite clearly show speed increases.
The Macbook in question has had an upgrade from Snow-Leopard to Lion although I don't think that'd make any difference.
Any ideas?!
thanks
Jai
