Itunes 10.5 problem

Itunes 10.5 problem
All has been fine on the pc running windows 7 32 bit until tonight...
downloaded itunes 10.5 update and all installed fine, however when I open up itunes there is no I tunes store - completely blank.. all my apps are there and songs but no store, so I uninstalled all the apple stuff in the correct way and rebooted then installed again but same fault again...
anyone got any ideas...

all of my previous email account is still there, tried logging out and back in - no difference...
crazy fault this is!
The accessing Itunes store bar gets half way across then stops and disappears after a few secs...

i f'in dispise itunes
it picks up my iphone 4, but none of the details are visible and all the buttons and tick boxes (ie, sync etc) are there, but no info on them so its hard to no what does what,lol
ive tried uninstall and re-install etc but no joy, i tried it in my gf's laptop and worked fine. even tried a fresh install of w7, but still the same so i just gave up
probably going over to android in a month though, but itunes still does my **** in

Slightly ironic, seeing as Chrome is based on the same WebKit browser engine as Safari. One possibility though is that Apple have deliberately coded their Windows version of iTunes to work best on systems with IE installed. You could always try that.
