Pic on macrumors of a supposed 4S, basically iPhone 4 body with gsm/CDMA and an a5 chip. There is going to be a new phone soon, wether an update to the 4 or a new model no one is totally sure. Case manufactures have got cases based on hints, once being a US company so there could be two phones

I think we'll see a 4S and a 5. The 4S will look pretty much the same as a 4 and the 5 will be a new design with a bigger screen and curved back. 4S will be lower specced than the 5. That's my predictions anyway.

You can usually tell when Apple are about to release a new iPhone or iPad cause the month leading up to it they're advertising the hell out of the current gen phone/pad in order to shift as many as possible.

Undoubtedly a great bit of hardware, but as with all of these smart phones, it comes down to the software.
You pays your money, you makes your choice.
After using Android, I'm pretty sure it's not the OS for me (if I'm honest)

I'm wondering about the new screen size of the rumoured iPhone 5. If it is a different resolution then that means graphics would need resizing, or to be drawn in the new resolution. Existing apps could look a little off displaying current retina graphics on the new sized screen.
I think Apple announced the iPhone 4 a short while before launch, which gave devs a little time, a matter of weeks, to get apps ready with the new retina graphical assets. This may, or may not, be enough time to turn things around, depends on how many graphics your app has. You would now need four sets of assets; Non-retina display, retina display, iPad, and new retina plus display.
Perhaps the screen size is bigger, but somehow the pixels are being slightly stretched to keep the retina display's ratio? Sounds a little odd for Apple to do that though.
