I was cheeky and i have played the leaked PC Dev version, i thought it seamed a pretty decent game so planned to pick it up at some point, not sure which format yet as i have more mates on the 360, but the framerate and texture pop was a lot worse on the console when i tested the MP demo.

Was looking to trade in Bulletstorm tomorrow if the shop has Crysis in stock.

Picked this up today in Game, have a few Multi player games and i'm loving it so far, really fast paced, no campers as campers will not last in this game, graphics are looking sweet. I had this downloaded as a demo on Xbox and to me the finished game is much better, running faster and smoother

IIRC "nanovision" allows you to see the cloaked folk ?

Cloaking does not last long at all from what i've played so far, it drains the suits energy bar and you are then left exposed until it recharges, also the good thing about cloaking in terms of the gameplay is it is not 100% perfect, when you get up close to cloaked players you see the outline, albeit if you are moving fast it's easy to miss

Well, after giving it a good try out, my verdict is 'ok' I so hoped it would be more!!

Multi player, still not a patch on MW, this is more black ops in style, and I hated that with a passion!

To be fair this is better than Blops, and just about good enough to stop me trading it right away.

But I will not pre-order another FPS again, and now they have fixed MW2 at least if/when Crysis wears thin I have a fall back!

Picked this up today, i went for the 360 version as my mate also picked it up for his console.

Really quite impressed with the graphics for the 360 version to be honest, Crytek have rustled up some extra legs from the 360 machine, the campaign seams to look nicer than the multiplayer, although i did see some pretty noticeable "LOD switching" on some trees.

Its interesting to see how it plays from that cheeky leaked PC Dev version i played a month ago, the majority so far has been pretty much the same, apart from an extra level that has been put in (searching the alien crash site)

IIRC i got about halfway through the dev version before stopping, and i think i am about a quarter of the way through the 360 version now.

I have a feeling that the leaked dev version was the console version.

I was going to try the official PC demo to size things up but after downloading, it was wanting me to sign up and create an account (seriously for a demo?) so i deleted it.

People claimed the PC demo was simply the console one anyway (iirc it even said press start instead of enter)

If it's as good as the original then it will be worth getting I imagine, though will I need the new nvidia 590 to play it?

I have played it on advanced settings with my GTX275 and it runs nicer than the xbox version.

Not sure if it is a DX11 game yet, i think they are patching that stuff in later

yup

Q6700 @ 3.5ghz and a GTX275 for me, runs spot on, to be fair though the bloody xbox version runs spot on as well for the spec of it.

It seams CryEngine3 scales REALL well.

Looking to pick up a GTX570 soon though once i get my tax refund back

All finished and yes it was good, especially the ending
My 6600 and 280GTX also runs it well (clocked to 2.7ghz at the moment, doesnt stutter or anything on that )
