Have been looking forward to this too. It's gonna need a pretty beefy PC though to get those jaw dropping visuals running smoothly.

Although not DX10 it is a beefy set up..
overclocked (6600) running at 3.2ghz
2GB corsair something or other (forgotten)

and twin 1950's in crossfire

Not going to upgrade to vista for a while yet so the final touches to the visuals will have to wait.

TBH there is not that much difference between DX 9 and 10 in any reviews that I have seen. Most of the effects being created can be done in both versions. No doubt there will be improvements, but at the moment I don't think DX10 is much better.

Nice rig you have btw. Not long upgraded myself and hope to run some of the upcoming games without any more upgrading, if not, then I guess a 2nd GFX card is on the wish list

...and like you I have no desire for Vista for the next while at least. I think I will wait until SP1 at the very least. Still not too sure how this will run Crysis, but I am hoping to get decent detail levels at decent FPS.

EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot, apparently the demo will be out 25th Sept
