You might be able to get a deal on a Panasonic TZ7. They're hovering around the £160 mark, but it's replacement the TZ10 is due to be replaced again (TZ20) in about a week, which will generally push all previous models down in price. Records 720p HD movies as well as taking superb pictures.

I am really happy with the Panasonic Lumix TZ10. Great camera to walk around, take pictures and shoot movies (720p). You can even use the optical zoom for movies. Camera zoom and stabilizer are great. Great working GPS is also there.

I have the TZ7, it is an amazing camera video and pictures is the best I have seen (i have a nikon d3000 as well). The TZ10 has the GPS function which is good but uses a lot of battery....

I think for the tz7 i paid about 180 and that was a few months back make sure you dont get the tz8 as that's not as good.
