iPad 2 release date given
Well mainly for Jack as i think he thinks my sources are unreliable
On show Tuesday 2nd march, supposedly released 1 month later to the general public.
Orange and t mobile have been trying to shift the iPad version one off the shelves this week with discounted contracts.
Just hope it's better the 2nd time around
Also talk of a 7 inch version to try to compete with the android tablets

And the sheep will throw away their iPad1s and all buy the new Holy Grail that is the iPad2 probably before a single review of the product has been posted as if Apple are making it it must be solid gold genius right?
What I love about these launches is the way Apple will now tell us all the improvements and how they fix the 'problems' with the initial version.... problems that according to the Apple faithful won't have been there the day before, but all of a sudden are now only too evident.
It's pure marketing BS yet they all fall for it every time.

Tony, I posted that days ago, you should stick to me as a source.
There's still hope for a much higher resolution display.
f1, you sound like a child. Things get upgraded, people upgrade. If you can't afford it, don't do it, simple. Apple have a great track record for producing worthwhile upgrades on a reasonable timescale.

iOS 4.3 will probably also be released and possible Xcode 4.0 (unless 4.0 is held back for WWDC in June). We'll be getting some iPad 2 devices when they ship. I'd say it's not going to be a radical change as otherwise devs would need to be given a bit more of a heads up to get things up and running on them, even if only in a new iPad 2 simulator, which unless I'm very blind, simply does not exist.

the constant reloading of web pages drives me nuts! something to do with the memory, if you open 2 or 3 windows and flick from one to the others the page briefly displays and then reloads 3 or 4 seconds later...
