A firewall is a firewall. They all do the same thing. The difference could be for the UTM specific parts?

If this new company keeps on about Fortinet, then surely they can lend you one of their appliances and you can test?

Quality

As HHxx says, it depends on UTM / application intelligence / VPN etc functionality you require.

Juniper

Though their US centric support gets a bit grating at times. If they ask me one more time what kind of day I am having I might lose the plot !!

I have always thought Juniper were good and have always used them. Then one of my clients sister companies use a different IT support company and were trying to tell me that Fortinet are much better etc etc.....
I started to doubt my confidence in Juniper, and not knowing fortinet thought I would ask you guys
