Default Making a DVD

Im wanting to make a DVD for someone, They have taken a load of holiday photos and videos with there camera.

Ive downloaded the pics and videos onto my laptop which is runing Windows 7. Ive tryed Windows DVD maker, Windows Movie maker and the DVD still wont play on a DVD player. Ive also tryed 3 different DVD discs but all the DVD player comes up with is BAD DISC.

Any help on this would be a great help.

if your using Windows dvd maker have you checked the options and made sure they are PAL and not NTSC?

And also when burning make sure you burn at the slowest speed to ensure the best compatibility.....it will take longer but will produce less errors during the write process...

Did you finalise the disc when burning? Some standalone players are picky about that.
