This is just a warning for any of you playing online Black Ops on PS3.
I updated yesterday with the new patch and ever since I have very regular game freezes requiring a full reset of the PS3. I hardly ever had this before the patch.
Seems like forums are full of people with similar problems.
It's so bad I am thinking of giving up playing it, because I am spending 8 minutes rebooting and getting into a game, only to find 2 mins later I have to do it all again. Not much fun.

I don't know if the single user game is as broken, as I never play it.

Treyarch clearly don't have a clue when it comes to testing and quality control.
This patch sucks!!
Worst game experience I've had on the PS3 to-date. Quite shocking for a company that claims it has AAA quality games.

Actually I have both, and 9 times out of 10 I prefer the user experience on PS3.
I've not turned my XB360 on for about 12 months.
Then again I've only really been playing MW2 and CODBO in the last 12 months :-)
This is really the first game I have had that has been unstable (from about 50 odd games on Ps3). My XB360 used to crash about 2 or 3 times a day on any game (I guess due to overheating). After I fitted an Intercooler this dropped off to maybe once every couple of days, but so noisy.

i gave up with black ops over a month ago now as i struggle to even finish a game without being kicked from the server. i'm holding onto it though as treyarch has a history of this and they normally fix it a month before the next game comes out so i can enjoy it for a bit then.

Ive got it but just play zombies much better on there,other than that its pointless just get discon all the time and players keep spawning next to you

You can delete the game patch if its that bad. It'll just re-install game data from the disc, won't affect your saved games, but back that up just in case.
