Default SSDs and servers

Has anyone used SSDs in a server environment? If so, where? Just the OS partition or both OS and apps/data volumes? Any pros and cons?

TIA

Mark

Yes m8 youll normally find them in Blades and thus normally feed from a DAS NAS or SAN.

The HP ones have a 1.5 GB speed and are good, if you plan to use the server as old school then id prob go 15k Sas 146s and raid 5 em .

SSDs normally just for OS fast boot.
