Default Some advice reqd please...

Hey all,

Been a while since I've posted in here, but i need some advice regarding a strange problem please.

So I came home tonight and flipped open my laptop to find my usual desktop picture had been replaced with that of a nude young lady, legs akimbo...!

Well, considering that I didn't change it, and no-one other than my other half has access to my computer, I can't imagine how it has happened...?!?

Yes, of course I peruse the occasional 'adult' website, but I don't download anything and I certainly didn't recognise the pic, so I've no idea where it came from...!!!

Could have been quite embarrassing had the missus opened the laptop instead of me...!!! I was wondering if I might have a virus as i had a very dubious pop-up appear a few days ago.

Anyone got any ideas what might have happened...?

Cheers,

Bri.

Hi Bri this is usual for Rogue Virus, probably you are download "innocent" file which is virus.
Best bet if you are download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from this link( http://www.malwarebytes.org/ ) and get scan with this in Safe Mode(in safe mode working just few things which are good for this program),download Ccleaner(clear cache, temp files and everything)

Don't worry matey just double check what you are downloading and you will be safe.
And every few weeks scan PC with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for piece of mind
