I'll second that phoenix. Been waiting ages. Went in to pick it up on the 4th November and they said it was put back so I got f1 2010 instead and still waiting for gt5 will be good when it does hit the shelves I'm glad I pre ordered it as it won't take long to sell out.

Is it going to be better than Forza 3 then?

yes.

It always been the benchmark for racing games, every detail in and about the game is massive.

Example ive fired up GT4 and been playing it, Ive spent 4 hours doing Licences and racing and so far ive completed 0.8% of the game LOL
The games massive over 1000 cars and so much tuning its mega.

Forza ia a cracking game and up there with it, But GT5 is the real daddy for us petrol heads.

Pity its PS3 only for some of you

I think this is the only game that would make me buy the PS3. Been quite happy with my xbox up until I found out GT5 is due out!

It's not like they've rushed it out though so it had better be polished so much it'll blind you when you load it up

Am I the only person that isn't remotely excited about having 1000's of cars to chose from in a racing game? Just look at the Scooby list as an example...
IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA '05
IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA RM '05

Ohhhh I'm sure it'll handle completely differently and bounce off the invis'walls that all GT games have 2ft from the main surface

How can you say it's better when you've not even played it?

Will the car handling be better than what it is in Prologue? Because it's crap in my opinion.
I went back to Forza. If only Forza had the visuals...

That's a pity, I'll probably end up still buying it though just to look at the graphics and the kart racing sounds like fun.

This is what I could find on google
Quote:
It’s difficult to believe, but Sony has delayed the release of Gran Turismo 5 yet again.

The firm’s official Swedish*website reveals that the game will not now launch until November 26.

Although this is only a two day delay, it’s another blow for European gamers who are surely becoming a little tired of the numerous false promises.

At present, UK and USA release dates remain at November 24.

We’ve contacted Sony for their response and we’ll let you know more as we get it.

Ok here is from website, maybe help

Quote:
Sony has issued a brief response to reports suggesting the release of Gran Turismo 5 has been pushed back by two days - from November 24 to 26 - across much of Europe.

"We've announced the date as the 24th and have not changed that at all," the company told Kotaku.

So, next Wednesday it is then, we guess. Maybe it's finally safe to book the day off work, but you never know with GT5.
