Anybody going to be playing this on the Logitech G25, have had the wheel a couple of years but recently purchased a proper racing seat and frame to strap it all to.

One of the best games for handling physics is ferrari challenge, can really feel what the cars doing underneath you unlike GT5 prolgue where it usually just slides with no real feel through the steering wheel.

I cant say ive played it true, and i do love Forza,
Its just although CURRETLY Forza is king, last GT was about 6 years ago, this 1 is highly polished, well it better be been delayed bloody ages.

You can Mod more in Forza i think, but the content and longevity of the GT series far supasses Forza.

As for game dynamics, do you really think that they wont get near or pass Forza racing feel, even Gt4 feels good to me, Games like NFS drive diff and are more arcady.

The basics are Forza 3 is old now and youve all prob done it, theres a new kid coming, and if your lucky enough to own a ps3 and like cars, then buy the ******, but if your an Xbox fanboy then stick with your Forza.

I have both and i will be buying it as im bored of Forza, i want new spangly cars and Nascar and Rallys and Ice driving, and the new Nightmare mode.

Forza is good no doubt, lets see if GT can get near it.

In the meantime im gonna try do the Ring in my merc 190 in under 8 Mins, without going off the track once, HATE THIs LICENCE

Don't get me wrong I will be buying it this week, but imo the GT series lost the plot after number 2/3. For a console game the Forza series is the most realistic CURRENTLY. That may change next week, but I doubt it.

If you are really in to a simulation experience and know how to drive, you soon realise that graphics and number of cars don't mean **** I'm afraid....... but then the PlayStation generation is not about that is it, so unfair to compare really.

Have a blast on Richard Burns Rally if you want something that is actually realistic and teach you how to drive better.

Currently best/realistic simulation is only LFS(Life for speed),GTR,rFactor. If you are mean FM which don't support G25(which is probably best steering wheel for consoles,PC etc).
Realistic FM?Ok,where start....at beginning if you are mean unrealistic sound of some engines, damage mode is horrible(some cars you can damage and some just mechanical component like 907HDi or other R1 just rear spoiler you can damage),sorry but this is not realistic game anywhere near, very small numbers of tracks(and after few times you know every track, its just bad joke),i play last time FM3 and took me 2 weeks to complete all(1000G),in GT you are need just 2 weeks for complete every licence and tracks...
If you are really good you can try GT Academy 2011(which will be launched this year December 6 http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/academy/faq ),and drive real races with Nissan 350z/370z
Look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L023Gxp4pWM
and compare something which is uncomparable(FM and F1)..
I really hate this thread about which is best, every game have own,but FM don't support the main gear G25(because playing with joypad or MS steering wheel is just pain, something like playing the FPS with joypad) and GT5 future will show later this week...
Richard Burns Rally has been great game, but at these times RBR is nothing just history, because at these times are here games like Dirt, which are not rally but arcades

Used to have a G25 and Playseat and sold them and bought a Fanatec Turbo S with the CSP's and also have a VR3. I'm a lot faster using wheel/pedals now than a controller

Ah the G25 fantastic piece of kit. Dunno about the tripe that is console racers, but in a proper PC sim such as GTR Evo I knocked 10seconds off a lap around 1 of my fav circuits in a matter of hours versus a joystick

Come on GTR is only for PC,you are comparing uncomparable...
If you are really good try GT Academy this year and you will see, what is what
I've run last year and i have been just 65th,but this time only with joypad....
At last proper sim games are far better than GTR

What are you talking about, you make no sense...

Why the **** would i want to play GTAcademy?? When I have better sims to play on the PC. Anyway I dont have a p1ss3 or gaybox and have no intention of buying either.

You are still talking around GTR Evo,but on PC are much better sim like GTR and comparing the console games against PC is not really fair.... Don't be silly and BIG ....
On consoles never be proper sim due is small market for proper sim(how many sell SimBin GTR Evo or Race 07?)
You have better sims, but you are still have some words here(proper PC sim such as GTR Evo or you know just one game),and finally play on PC better sims, try LFS with HDR and 16x AA/16xAF...
