Would you have to had played the others to be able to play this one?

For that matter, would you have to had played the original to play Modern Warfare 2?

Having played previous versions only help by getting into the game quicker I guess.
Not essential.
These codes....being the cautious person I am....what's the catch?
Didn't think anything Woolworths related still existed?

I am tempted, but I was tempted more by something else, unfortunately there is a minimum order price. (and no, I wasn't trying to just spend a couple of quid )

I got all my microsoft points from the littlewoods thing a while back, and they never asked for the money back.

But the warning is sound IMO.

That is what happened to me! They billed me for £25 and charged £45 to my account. I had to really scour the site to find out how to cancel.
Good deal if you pay by paypal.

Money has been taken and I have a confirmation order

Should be delivered on the 9th (Release Day) but could be the day before if you're lucky Or late if you're not
Either way if the order comes through it saves me having to queue at the supermarket

Discount code doesn't seem to work for the 'hardened' edition In fact the whole route through pre-order basket checkout seems different!

[Post #19, that explains it then ]

Thumbs down

Just a heads up folks - would be well worth reading this thread

http://www.avforums.com/forums/gamin...ths-co-uk.html

and this quote from it

""Just had a bit of a chat with a Woolworth’s customer service advisor and have been informed this is a very.co.uk code and not a woolworths.co.uk code. He said the order will either be cancelled or you will be charged the full amount. For those who paid with PayPal I guess they will just cancel the order and refund you but if you paid with a credit card or a debit card I guess you will get charged the full amount!

He did go onto say that if used at very you should have no problems what so ever?

Ben"

I get that, so why would woolworths website accept a very.co.uk promo code?

Chap on Surrey Scoobies called them -

"Just got off the phone with Woolworth. The bird on the phone told me that the discount code doesn't work for card purchases made through the site, so you will be charged full price, then you won't get the cash back, so I've cancelled my order.

Hopefully those of you who paid by Paypal will have more luck! "

We are sending our apprentice up to the supermarket to get our copies as we are nightshift! Hopefully they will have them at a decent price!
