csv should transfer via pen drive

sounds like you don't have anything (Excel ??) on the new laptop that recognises csv files !

sounds like your issue is with egizmo (whatever that is).

Probably expects your csv file to be in a particular place (if your old laptop was XP and your new one Vista/Windows7 Microsoft have very wisely changed the way everything is stored and the security around it !

Most likely problem is a security one.

Good luck - you may have a long night ahead !

Possibly - but there are definitely no issues with simply transferring a csv file from one pc to another via a pen drive (Unless the drive is fooked).

Assuming egizmo is this http://ebiztobiz.co.uk/egizmo_products.htm then there may be issues with your egizmo licence etc !

Time to start reading through the help files .

PM me the CSV - I'll convert it to XLS and mail back - If you can send in next 15 to 30 mins

What's the timescale for you to fix? Only ask cos I'm fookin shagged!

Actually - just reread - you can open it in excel and update it - right?

You say "use egizmo to upload it but nothing shows up"

upload it where ? T'internet / Work VPN etc?

What do you mean by uploading? Only way I can imagine it, is through a workshare/network setup etc...

or..

You are using two different programs to do the same thing.

No.

Change the Workgroup name to match all the others.

  1. Open System by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
  2. Under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings, click Change settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3. In the System Properties dialog box, click the Computer Name tab, and then click Change.
  4. In the Computer Name/Domain Changes dialog box, under Member of, click Workgroup, and then do one of the following:
    • To join an existing workgroup, type the name of the workgroup that you want to join, and then click OK.
    • To create a new workgroup, type the name of the workgroup that you want to create, and then click OK.
