COD:MW2 help
Just installed it and when i try and start it, it says "Error graphics card or driver does not support Vertex Shading 3.0".
I think i've just installed the latest drivers for it from ATi and according to the spec of the card, it mentions shading.
My graphics card is an ATi Radeon x600 256mb Hypermemory.

Does anyone know if this card will run the game, or do i have to return the game / buy a new graphics card??

Thanks. Well that confirms it. Thinking of upgrading to something like this. Don't want to spend more than that really. Any comments of whether this is the best for the money?

My P4 3.2 is just above minimum spec and i'm about to up the memory from 2GB to the max 4GB.

I've got an Xbox, but just can't get on with FPS games with a controller. Just fancied playing some PC games for a change.
Is there are any that are worth getting for my current spec PC? I'm gonna leave upgrading the card, as i'll upgrade the whole PC in a while as it's all getting old.

You could always drop back to CoD WaW, that will run, not sure how many people play it multiplayer anymore though. Most newish stuff you're gonna struggle I'm afraid, its got very GFX card/CPU intensive over the last year!
Totally agree about FPS on console though, only ever managed to get on with Halo.

Ill admit (and you can probably find many of my comments on old threads) that I was well against playing FPS on a console. Mainly due to spending years playing on PC with mouse & keyboard - and I was playing competitively online and in LAN comps with Counterstrike. At first its hard to use a controller instead but I now have no issues. Ok still not as accurate as a mouse but everyone is the same boat so the playing field is leveled somewhat anyway.
Biggest issue I found on my PS3 was aiming when playing on my 42" plasma and put this down to using a controller. So I stuck my PS3 on my 22" LCD monitor and the aiming was transformed. I wouldnt look back now £250 console that will last you for a good 5 yrs + with no need to upgrade or spend treble that to keep your pc running the latest games.
