Default how much do referral websites get payed ?

There's a lot of these "sell my mobile phone" type sites around - anyone know how much they make when they refer a customer onto a site ?

eg. if I use kelkoo to buy a computer game from amazon, how much does kelkoo get for my sale ?

Any online purchases I make go through quidco so I earn cashback make about £250 a year easy money for doing nothing - the site itself must make the same I guess

even a ebay purchase earns you cashback

computer games are going to be tiny margins as they only make a few pence on them. Car insurance, house insurance, mobile phone contracts etc anywhere between £30 and £150 is paid out for the sale.

Indeed, got £80 through TopCashBack for my missus Orange phone contract, was about £50 for mine, £67 on car insurance with Aviva, £30 on home insurance with Swinton, £40 for changed gas / elec to nPower. Have made about £650 all told since I started using the cashback sites

So big business. Always look up the best quotes, prices, etc. on comparison sites. Don't click through from them, use a cashback site to click through and get the referral bonus yourself

As already said - shop about first to see who give most cashback - almost every supplyer online offers cashback through quidco or moneysupermarket etc

eg now I think npower are offering £120 cashback to get gas and electric off them (not sure how there prices fair though) if your not in a contract you can switch after 6 months I did this with eon got £70 cashback then joined EDF 6 months later and got another £40 easy money plus there tarifs are cheap for me

ive ditched BT for line rental and joined primus that earned me £20 plus primus are £2.50 a month cheaper then BT so double bonus

ebay varys as its based on the revenue so a £100 purchase could get you £3.50 one day and another day its 9p

even selling your mobile phone to mazuma mobile gets you 75p it all adds up

mobile contracts are big money earners sky used to be bit its dropped a bit

EDIT

just bought a new clutch kit for the scooby through just clutches on ebay cost £128 and ive just earned £3.50 cashback on it
