Bioshock 2
Anyone else playing this?
If you're thinking about buying, i'd rent it first.
I loved the first, it's still the only game i've played through three times, so I was looking forward to it coming out.
Multiplayer reminded me of The Club. It looked old already, nothing exiting to do, kills were awkward, re-sporning seemed to take ages. After two rounds I quit.
The biggest surprise is the poor graphics on single player, they look worse than the first! (at least on the 360). Get up close to anything and it goes really grainy, things look blocky too, the plants in the water especially bad!
It's just not gripping me yet, i'd only give it a 7/10 so far
What do you lot make of it?

They should have left as is.
Like you I loved the first one but couldn't see how they could make a decent story out of another one.

Its ok so far but I was actually suprised by the MP. I think its quite fun but will never get my off COD for long periods.
Maybe a rental if you're not sure.

Loved the first one, but it was all about the story and the design, it was something new, and kept me hooked until around 3/4 way through when i got bored playing as the big daddy.
It also pissed me off with the little sister glitch which spawned extra sisters, who i killed and it broke the achievement tracking as i had too many
I traded my copy in, might rebuy it for the pc now its cheap as hell (and probably patched right up) and replay the first game instead.

Completed it today, only took about 10 hours. It got better but I was still disappointed.
Will be trading it in this week, should hopefully get £30 for it. If anyone wants it (360 version, as new) before I do then drop me a pm.
