Default Bioshock - XBox360 - can't wait for this one!

From the makers of one of my all time favourite games, System Shock II, comes Bioshock...

Check out the water effects (set in a city beneath the sea)

loving the Big Daddies (no. not the wrestler) with the little girls (sounds like a **** movie).
They had an entire team dedicated to the water effect and it shows.

System Shock II - I'll always remember for the ATMOSPHERE - such a hard thing to do in game (evidently) but it was a genuinely scary place to wonder around.

I imagine there'll be a bit of a dilemma the first time you have to kill one of those little girls in BIOSHOCK (and probably be chased by the big-daddy!)

Mine shot up to 81% in about 30mins, now 30mins after that it's still only at 82%
Looks like I'll be playing it tomorrow rather than tonight!

cancel it, restart it, cancel it, restart it. Mine was stuck on 92% for ages and this got it through much quicker (it starts from where it left off each time)

Had a quick go last night - looks great and the story/atmosphere is very impressive and detailed. I'm not sold on the controls just yet, but I am sure that will grow on me.

What a great demo! The ghostly 1930's atmosphere reminded me of The Shining somehow (only underwater). Stylistically very impressive. Not my favourite style of game but I think I'll take a punt on it.

I get the % loss as well it was taking a loooonnnng time last night so switched it off at 57%,restarted and it was 44% but even so it is worth the wait.
It's hard to believe you can get a game that looks and plays so well then get a game like Vampire Rain which is possibly one of the worst games ever (i just downloaded the demo).

this looks to be an amazing game, BUT

1.35gig, for that tiny amount of play in the demo, i`m wondering if the retail version is going to be a bit "short"

loved the style and feel, although walking around not being able to see everything is normally the type of game that i dont bother with, i think i will buy this one

Very impressed.
Not normally the type of game I'd buy but this is going on my must have list.
Sticky, I was wondering the same thing! I hope it isn't too short.

i did some sniffing about on other websites a few days ago and read a claim that there is only 10 hours gameplay in the retail version

with the demo being so short compared with the size of it, cant help wondering if its going to be another "short game looks amazing" jobbie

Played as bit of the demo... WOW!! love it so far. Cant wait to play the game. 10 hours of that is fine by me. They could make it 20 hours long but then you'd complain about the development times etc..

I don't think it'll be a game to rush through though, each location looks so rich in detail it's amazing.

Anyone else have the thought that when they were travelling down in the bathysphere.... "I wish I could have seen it when it was first built"?
