If it was possible, you'd have burnt it in your Vulcan engines. That's where I'd put it.

Functional, I have a list of "products" that a SAP expert is adamant are processes or activities. Hopefully if someone has an understanding of ConfigMgt as well that would be ideal.

Back in 2002 SAP contractors were paid £110 an hour. SAP = German Database with sh1te naming structure and mad relationships. Many HR / accounting systems use it.

Good old Solaris / Oracle, why would you want anything else ? :-)

The terminology has now changed to workstream, so for example RTR_Duty, PTP_Duty. I need to understand what this means

Because there are people who understand real computing and those who settle for the rest whilst trying to argue it's the best!

Used a product called enterprise architect to examine the schema for SAP about 5 years ago, couldn't believe the field names were in German.

We don't really encounter SAP in any tenders.
Last 2 big deals I worked on SAP was dropped - they couldn't even be bothered to turn up for the presentation - twice!
More recently they haven't even made it past the initial selection

I know of one particular installation (live for 9 months so far) and its still a bloody disaster - SAP consultants blaming bad data and the likes
Alas, that company are too far down the line to back out now - something they'd love to be able to do
